Hello, Bluebird Families!
On Tuesday, we discussed elections and had our own class election, complete with a polling location, a voting booth, ballots, and a ballot box. We voted for our favorite color! Purple won! Some of us were happy with the election results and others were not. We talked about how this is true of all elections.
We began our art studies and preparations for the art show! You will notice a lot less art coming home and less pictures of art on Instagram. We are creating amazing masterpieces for our art show in December and want you to be surprised! I can tell you that we learned about the artists Yosef Albers and Wassily Kandinsky this week and experimented with how colors interact with each other. We created some abstract art of our own and explored color with magnatiles on the light table. We also played in some fun artist sensory bins.
