Hello, Bluebird Families!
We enjoyed celebrating A’s birthday on Monday with a monarch butterfly and rainbow birthday ring! We also each made a page for her birthday book. Birthdays are always such a special time together!
Wednesday was applesauce day! Each child prepared 3 apples. We washed our hands and each apple. We loved using the handy gadget to peel, core, and slice our apples! Then we used silverware knives to chop up the apples even more. We even scraped the chopped apples from their cutting boards into the pot! Then we each sprinkled in some sugar and cinnamon! We had to be very patient for it to cook and cool off a bit! We all enjoyed eating the delicious applesauce that we made together!
We also had fun playing with orange playdough, fall sensory bins, writing our names with glass stones, making paper pumpkins, and painting this week!
We will be finishing up our fall activities this week with our fun fall festival on Friday.
Thank you for sharing your children with me!
Anna
