Hello, Bluebird Families!
We had another fun week all about apples and fall! We had several days of very involved, full-day projects where we worked for a bit and then played and then came back to work a bit more and then ate lunch and then came back to work more, and so on. I was so proud of the children for seeing these projects through to the finish! We made apple patterns and colored and labeled the parts of an apple. We created gorgeous artwork about the seasons of the apple tree. We made delicious applesauce from apples that we washed, peeled, and chopped ourselves! We also built with blocks, played dominos, created pumpkin paper chains, and went on a nature walk to collect signs of fall. During our outside playtime, we often played family and pet store in the sandbox. On Friday, the clouds in the sky were incredible, and we enjoyed finding many different animals in them. We found an alligator, a fish, a whale, a sea horse, a pteradactyl hatching from an egg, and more!
I’m looking forward to another great week, this time all about PUMPKINS!
