Hello, Parents, spring is the air and our Friendly Foxes are spending the week listening and moving to Irish music, digging for gold in sensory bins, coloring great big rainbows, and pretending with all sorts of fairies.
During circle time we found Ireland on the map every day on the continent of Europe. Ask your child the “Continent Song” and see if they can chant it.
We also spent a great deal of time talking about the four seasons. Some of our foxes get months of the year and the names of the seasons mixed up. We used water colors to paint a tree in each season. Mrs. Marci was a prop holding a lamp pretending to be the sun while Mr. Clayton held a globe and rotated around her. He explained the spring equinox to our students.
Here are some great pictures from this magical week as we anticipate spring!
