Hello, Sweet Families!
We have had a wonderful week wrapping up our Art Studies. We have been talking so much about what the Art Show would look like and how exciting it would be to give you all a tour. Thank you so very much for taking the time to experience this with them! We are all so proud of everything we’ve learned together, from Art History to various techniques, from artists who loved to take inspiration from nature, to artists who took inspiration from food and things like dots. Now you have seen what we’ve been talking about all along and we hope you love it as much as we do! We truly loved sharing our special sign language rainbow song with you as well. I have woven that song together from others over the years and have been loving teaching myself the signs for all our special songs and it was a joy to be able to share that with you.
We loved building the Kusama interactive dot room together, and perhaps the best part was when Clayton allowed the children to cover him in dots as well, just as Kusama does for people. She calls this a “happening,” so Mr. C was our happening! We also enjoyed making our mini-museums together and this really helped to tie it all together for the children. We enjoyed touring the other classroom’s art and gave them lots of compliments. We also took time to hear from each Fox which piece of art that they made was their favorite. This was a lovely conversation!
When we return on January 3rd we will be welcoming winter and talking all about what happens in winter. We will also have another pajama and popcorn day on January 3rd, and as always this is optional. The children can always choose to opt out and wear regular clothes. We hope you have a wonderful time together until we see you again!
Warmth and peace,
Wynne
