Hello, Friendly Fox Families!
We have had a lovely week of welcoming November, our Art Studies, and changing weather. The children are getting along so beautifully, and are really remembering how to be kind to one another. We are truly gelling as a class, and it is so wonderful to have great teaching partners in Clayton and Lauren!
We have had a lovely time introducing our Fine Art studies, and began by learning about primary colors, and then we got to mix them together to make our own secondary colors paints and we loved this! We had a loop lines drawing and painting day and noticed all the spaces and places we could add colors, and the Foxes were so proud of their creations. We learned about our first famous artist, Paul Klee, and how much he loved color. We enjoyed making our own interpretations and will be surprising you with them during the Art Show. We had so much fun with an all-about-rainbows day, including building fabulous rainbow marble runs. The Friendly Foxes are amazing engineers and artists! We made our own November calendars, read some wonderful art books, and are absolutely loving the special camping area in our room!
Friday will be a just-for-fun “Dragons Love Tacos” day, and next week we will continue making wonderful art through studying more famous artists and learning new ways to create together.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us!
