So I haven’t mentioned that school is coming to an end. It can cause some anxiety in little people, so Thursday I’ll just say that summer break is here and we’ll see each other soon. We’ll wish much luck to Anni’s family as they mover to Germany for a year, and we’ll miss Nana, Ilana, and Lev as they move to Maryland.
Last week a few kids wanted to make sure that you have this song. The Bucket Song. The Honeybees are speed cleaners when this song comes on.
I’d love to share some of our other songs, some children’s artists and some just music that has us humming and moving our hips and hands. This is so sweet and all Renee and Jeremy is good for chill times. We’ve been having reggae Thursdays and 70’s soul Fridays.
This always reminds me of how small they are.
If you need to start a Honeybee Dance Party…..
Of course we’ll have another throw down dance party with this song. This is so Honeybee 2022.
We spent last week learning about both our caterpillars and chick development, and this week should be our big culmination of these projects. I went out and got chick feed and bedding for our chicks, and I’ll set up our brooder tomorrow morning. The Honeybees can probably tell you everything they need. We have some wonderful chicken books for this week, but knowing us we might not be quite done with our love of Knuffle Bunny. Julien brought the first and second from the library, and I bought Knuffle Bunny Free. If you haven’t read it you really should.
Wednesday will be our field trip to Glade Road Growing for a farm tour. I’ve never ventured out on a field trip with 13 three and four year olds, so I’m glad that everyone will have a parent along. Remember that all the kids are invited… even Tuesday/Thursday kids. We’ll meet up at nine to nine fifteen at the farm. Help us stay together and listening to Farmers Sally and JP. Their kids Charlie and Jody will probably be with us too, and this tour is always wonderful.
Thursday is a half day for all of us, and all of the Honeybee kids are invited for the morning. We will be having lots of last day fun, and I have gifts for all the children. SHHHHHHHh. Come on into the room at noon for our final “Garden Children” Song of the year. Please sing along because I always cry.
