Good Morning on our last day in Japan.
Have you read some Yoko stories before? I could not decide on just one.
Let’s make some Japanese lanterns for your room. You’ll need scissors and bright paper. Thread them on a string so your house looks like a Japanese festival.
Let’s learn about something very loud. This is called Taiko. Traditional Japanese drumming. When we go back to school I’d love to find a way to put big drums on our music wall. How could you make some drums outside at your house?
You could make a small drumset from things you find in your recycling. I like the kazoo too. Here’s one idea.
How are we going to stamp your passport for Japan? Do you have a flower stamper that would look like a cherry blossom? You could even draw a taiko drum.
Where do you wan to go on Monday? Let me know.
I’m going to leave you today with one last story from our friend Bob.
Put your hands in the air Garden Children. Wherever you are we wish you well.
